Picture of Pioneer TowncarPioneer Executive Towncar, Shuttle and Limousine Service, Portland, Oregon - Owned by Abraham Demissie, who immigrated to the U.S. from Ethiopia in the 1970's, Pioneer Executive Towncar provides local transportation to airport and business travelers. Cascadia's loan helped Abraham refinance debt and add another car to his fleet of five.

100% Natural Day Spa, Yakima, Washington - This Hispanic-owned business offers a range of health and beauty services as well as a juice bar, cafe and retail shop. Cascadia's loan helped owners Blanca and Alex Guzman improve their parking lot and make renovations to their facility.

RK Custom, Shelton, Washington- Owners Mike Knobel and Terry Rismoen used Cascadia's loan to purchase and improve a lumber mill located on Washington's rural Olympic Peninsula. The mill will provide well paying jobs for up to 20 people.Loving & Learning Childcare

Loving and Learning Childcare, Yelm, Washington - Cascadia's loan to this woman-owned child care center enabled entrepreneur Diana Blang to remodel and expand her business. The addition will allow the center to become licensed for an additional twenty children and will help create three jobs.

Sawtooth Technologies, Stevenson, Washington - This rural company provides high-speed internet access and related services to businesses and residents of the Columbia River Gorge. Made through the Rural Development Investment Fund, Cascadia's loan supplied funds for working capital and equipment, allowing owner Brian Adams and his five employees to expand their customer base and improve their networks.

Seven Star Kung FuSeven Star Women's Kung-Fu, Seattle, Washington - This non-profit organization was founded 19 years ago to teach self-defense and self determination skills to women through the martial arts. Issues of physical, psychological and economic violence are addressed through the structure and curriculum of the school. The organization strives to provide services to women of all income levels, and many of its students are low-income. Cascadia's loan helped the school purchase a permanent facility, providing it with an affordable space.
